Retro Rewind is a must play simulator!

Image
Retro Rewind  9/10 A review by Bradley Pretre  I am oh so very late to the table with this one. Life has been crazy between moving, finding a new job, and finishing my own videogame "Tinkering Is Enough." I really ment to get to this review sooner but sometimes things gets away from you before you realize its too late to catch up! Retro rewind is a wonderful take on the store and business building genre. It takes cute fun stylized graphics a lot of Photoshop Elements and creates an enticing title that is simple and exciting to play. If you're looking for a game it takes a good amount of time to play through then this is the one that you want to buy. Retro rewind is far from being another store simulator that is shovelware. I reminds me of the times i went to BlockBuster as a kid to pickout a movie to watch with my mom, and dad. Every week was a new advenure into the store to find what I wanted, or thought I wanted to watch. Visual Style Simplistic but enticing presentatio...

A Honest Review of Super Pinball Adventure

Image
Super Pinball Adventure A review by Bradley Pretre There’s a small bar in my town with a row of old arcade machines. Ten bucks gets you in, the food is good, the drinks are better, and the people are always friendly. My favorite thing there—by far—is the pinball corner. The machines are in solid condition, and you can play as long as you want. I’ve spent hours on classics like The Simpsons Pinball Party . The place is called the Barcade… but that’s not actually what this review is about. What I am here to talk about is Super Pinball Adventure , a game that scratches an itch I didn’t even realize I had. It blends the RPG formula with survival-style pinball in a way that’s simple, approachable, and surprisingly fun. Each level gives you a set of tasks to complete before moving on, and every world contains six of these challenges. There are five worlds total, each one small, cute, and easy to pick up. While the overall layout stays the same from world to world, the changing objective...

A Honest Review of Car Dealer Simulator

Image
Something about this game just makes me happy. Here is a list of some of those things. Fun driving mechanics. Interesting mechanical uses of cleaning, restoring, and repairing cars. Working on vehicles requires using a ratchet. The game is in-depth enough to keep you engaged. The leveling system feels slow, but it is scaled properly to what you are doing. You can sell vehicles as fast as you want. Money is hard to come by at first, but once you learn the fruits of your craft, you can make money quickly. There are constant updates, and I mean almost weekly updates on the game.

The Dream Collector is okay...

Image
The Dream Collector is a fairly interesting little game. Its ambient music and soft sound effects blend seamlessly with a foggy atmosphere, creating a calm and immersive mood. The in‑game mechanics work well with the drag‑and‑drop style of gameplay, and there are plenty of 3D puzzles to assemble. Many of them result in visually appealing models. Gameplay revolves around combining broken pieces in a guided puzzle system, followed by solving riddles that weave small stories into each puzzle. There are also a few hidden secrets to discover, which adds a touch of fun. My favorite element is the riddle system, as it actually provides a genuine challenge. By contrast, the other puzzles offer little to no difficulty. Ultimately, I wouldn’t recommend the game because of this imbalance. If you don’t mind the lack of challenge in most puzzles, however, you’ll likely enjoy the experience.

An Honest review of Recharged

Image
Recharge is in Early Access. Anything I talk about or criticize may be subject to change. Recharge is the beginning of something great. RC cars, jumps, speed, loops. All the the basic systems are here to show what is capable in this small racing game. Due to this game being early access I feel that the content is lacking. Hopefully the developers stick to their quarterly update list! Here are some of the included features you can find in Recharge: Racing (Clearly) Multiplayer Races Test track for testing car tunes and upgrades Battle Pass style level up system (No battle pass required to gain all items) Intelligent AI Controller Support (Not all things are accessible via controller) As of right now I have only been able to get the single player mode working. In single player mode you select 1 of the 11 available tracks to race on and you can select anywhere from 0 to 11 opponents to face. You can have up to 16 laps per race. There is a difficulty scale of Easy to Hard. One of my favori...

Tobacco Shop Simulator is Shovelware

Image
Tobacco shop simulator is your common shop simulator experience. Set the price on items, checkout customers, order items to stock shelves, and wait until you level up. Once you level up you will be able to buy more stuff and sign product contracts. The only thing that makes this game slightly original is the fact that you're just selling tobacco products. It's essentially an entire clone of every other shop game that exists in the market right now.  I would go out of my way and say that it's actually just shovelware. I thought I was excited to play this game.  I got about 30 minutes into it and I am now bored. it's not very fun, and I don't really plan to continue playing it. It may be more fun later on when you progress, but im not feeling it Mr. Krabs. 🦀

I'll Be Brave Tomorrow – A Story of Hope and Friendship

Image
I'll Be Brave Tomorrow is a deeply inspiring and emotional journey that tells the story of a young boy who falls ill and finds solace in the friendships he forms with his stuffed animals and the people around him. While the game does not explicitly state his condition, it heavily implies a serious illness, possibly cancer. Confined to a hotel room, he learns life lessons through play, exploring his imagination while finding strength in the kindness of others.  Pros - A beautiful, heartwarming story that delivers an emotional and uplifting experience.  - A unique approach to storytelling, using games and interactions to teach valuable life lessons.  - Strong character development, creating deep connections between the player and the boy’s journey.  - A short but impactful playtime of about 2.5 hours, ensuring every moment feels meaningful.  - Half of the proceeds go to a children's charity, making the purchase even more worthwhile.  Cons -None Final T...
